Piazza Anfiteatro
The square has been built on the original base of the ancient roman amphitheatre.
Torre Guinigi
Entirely built with dark red bricks, the tower is 41 metres tall and famous for the amazing oak trees grown on its top.
The Walls
Symbol of the city; these wonderfully preserved 15th century fortified walls surround the city. They are 4200 metres long.
Piazza San Michele in Foro
Site of the S. Michele church, characterised by its splendid white-stone romanic facade.
Piazza Napoleone
Also know as "Piazza Grande". The square has recently been restored to its original 19th century state.
Cortile degli Svizzeri
A fine courtyard of the Duke's palace which originates from the 16th century layout of the building.
